Hi! I'm Lucas Henrique Dias Rocha — or just Lucas HD Rocha. I'm a Brazilian creative professional with a multidisciplinary background that bridges audiovisual production, communications, customer experience, and digital operations.

I began my journey in media back in 2012, working on a short film titled Lembranças da Prisão while pursuing a degree in Social Communication: Radio, TV & Internet at the Federal University of Pernambuco. During those five years, I immersed myself in all aspects of content creation — from writing, producing, and directing, to editing, acting, and photography. In 2014, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a commentary assistant for HBS during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, supporting live broadcasts at six matches, including Brazil vs. Mexico.

After graduation, I co-founded an independent production company, Almagesto Produtora, through which we created a diverse range of projects, including two short films (Sobre o Esquecimento and (Sub)Imersa) that were screened at international festivals. I also joined the traveling theatre group Trupe Arte na Mochila as a producer, participating in a European tour across six countries in 2017.

In 2019, I relocated to Lisbon and pursued a second degree in Applied Communication: Marketing, Advertising & PR at Lusófona University. Alongside my academic journey, I transitioned into tech and operations, working at Kaizen Gaming, one of the leading companies in online betting and gaming. There, I led multilingual support teams as a Back Office Shift Leader, managed real-time service coordination, and supported Responsible Gaming case handling — all within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

I hold a Google Certificate in UX/UI Design and a Six Sigma White Belt, and I’m always seeking to expand my knowledge. Whether through structured learning or real-world problem-solving, I’m passionate about improving user experience, building efficient systems, and helping teams grow.

I'm also a co-host of the podcast “Em Alta PT”, where we explore trending topics in Portuguese culture and current affairs. Beyond work, I’m an avid traveler, deeply curious about other cultures — a passion sparked by my time as an exchange student in the U.S. back in 2009.
